We only collect information we actually need to do our work. Depending on how you interact with us, that may include:

When you enquire or book a discovery call

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, if you provide it
• Your business name and what you do
• Anything you choose to tell us in your message

When you purchase a website

• The above, plus billing details processed by our payment provider
• Your business details, credentials, services, and pricing
• Content you supply for your website, including text and images
• Your domain and booking system details
• Login details for third-party services, only where you choose to share them so we can complete the build

When you visit our website

• Standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit
• Analytics data about how the site is used

We do not collect sensitive information as defined by the Privacy Act, including health information, unless you volunteer it in a message to us. Please don't send us health information about yourself or your clients.

We collect information directly from you when you fill in a form, send an email, book a call, make a purchase, or supply content for your website.

We also collect some information automatically through website analytics.

We do not buy personal information from third parties.

We use your personal information to:

• Respond to your enquiry
• Schedule and hold discovery calls
• Process your payment and issue receipts
• Build, revise, and launch your website
• Communicate with you about your project
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance where you've purchased it
• Meet our tax, accounting, and legal obligations

We will only use your information for a purpose you'd reasonably expect, or for a purpose you've agreed to.

We may send you occasional emails about our services if you've engaged us or opted in.

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@pepped.co at any time and we'll take you off the list.

We never sell your information to anyone, and we don't share it with third parties for their marketing.

We share personal information only where it's necessary to deliver our services. That includes:

Payment processing. Stripe handles all payments. We never see or store your full card details. Stripe has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

Booking and email. Calendly / Google Appointment Scheduling manages discovery call bookings, and Google Workspace hosts our email.

File sharing. Google Drive is used to receive images and files you send us.

Website hosting. Lovable & GoDaddy hosts our website and, where applicable, yours.

Website building tools. Lovable is used to build websites.

Professional advisers. Our accountant or legal advisers, where required.

We may also disclose information where we're required to by law.

Some of the service providers listed above store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union.

By providing your information, you consent to it being disclosed to overseas recipients in these circumstances. We take reasonable steps to use providers with appropriate data protection practices, but we can't guarantee that overseas recipients are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including:

• Two-factor authentication on our accounts where available
• Strong, unique passwords managed securely
• Limiting access to information to those who need it
• Deleting information we no longer need

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we do our best, we can't guarantee absolute security.

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and for as long as we're legally required to.

Financial records are retained for five years to meet Australian tax requirements. Project files and correspondence are generally kept for two years after a project completes, in case you come back to us for changes.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner and we will, unless we're required to keep it.

Our website uses cookies to help it function and to understand how visitors use it.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it's wrong.

Email hello@pepped.co and we'll respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. There's no charge for making a request, though we may charge a reasonable fee if a request requires significant work.

We may need to verify your identity before we release information.

If you think we've mishandled your personal information, please tell us first. Email hello@pepped.co with the details and we'll investigate and respond, usually within 30 days.
